Heliamphora huberi (Upright Nectar Spoon) is a distinctive species form grown in cultivation and selected for its unusual nectar spoon structure. Unlike the more common forward-leaning spoon seen in most H. huberi, this form develops a noticeably upright nectar spoon, giving the pitchers a more open, sculptural posture.

In good light, the plant really comes into its own. Pitchers often transition from fresh green into warm sunset tones, developing golden yellow centres edged in pink, coral, and deep red. This colour shift highlights the clean shape of the pitchers and draws attention to the upright spoon without overpowering the overall form.

Aside from this unique feature, it retains all the classic traits of true Heliamphora huberi — upright growth, refined pitcher shape, and a calm, elegant presence. It’s familiar enough to feel true to the species, yet distinctive enough to stand apart in a collection.

This offering is a division, meaning the plant is genetically identical to the parent. As a result, growth habit, form, and colour are more consistent, with less variation compared to seed-grown plants
