Heliamphora Uncinata
Compact pitchers with bold curves and striking colour.
Released in limited numbers. Not always available.
Heliamphora uncinata is a rare and highly distinctive species native to the Amurí Tepui region of Venezuela, where plants grow in cool, mist-laden highland conditions with constant humidity and bright, diffused light. These exposed environments shape a plant with compact growth, thick-walled pitchers, and a strong, sculptural presence.
The species takes its name from the uniquely hooked nectar spoon, a defining feature that sets H. uncinata apart from all other Heliamphora. In cultivation, pitchers grow upright and compact with smooth, heavy walls, often starting fresh green before developing warm yellow, bronze, and red tones under good light. The curved spoon adds an architectural quality that gives mature plants a bold, almost sculpted appearance.
This is a species grown as much for shape as for colour — confident, distinctive, and immediately recognisable once established.
This offering is a division, meaning the plant is genetically identical to the parent. As a result, growth habit, form, and colour are more consistent, with less variation compared to seed-grown plants

Important
Each plant displays natural variation. Individual specimens may differ in colour, form, and pitcher height.
Temperature and humidity ranges are guidelines only. These plants can tolerate short periods outside the ideal range, provided conditions return to stable levels.
